Complete Fairfax Snaffle Bridle with Flash Noseband
Developed, designed and handmade in the UK. The first bridle to be based on scientific research and proven to:
- Reduce pressure by up to 84%
- Reduce force by up to 77%
- Allows greater forelimb extension
- Increase knee & hock flexion
Based on two years of scientific research, this bridle significantly relieves peak pressure in the six key pressure zones around the head, articulating and moving in harmony with the horse's head during the stride.
Our flash noseband is padded to relieve pressure on the nasal bone and also lift the noseband clear of sensitive areas either side. Articulation rings help the noseband move in harmony with the horse’s head. The Fairfax Flash strap is an integral part of the cavesson which presents it 'dragging' on the bottom edge of the noseband and causing pressure here. Please note: because of the design the flash strap is not removable.
The default sizes of the component parts are as follows:
Standard
16" browband, 21" throatlash, 9" cheek pieces, 12" chin strap with 4" pad, 18" jowl (crank) strap
Large
16" browband, 22" throatlash, 10" cheek pieces, 13" chin strap with 4" pad, 20" jowl (crank) strap
